You will find our Clear Rosin Free Soft Wax, the wax our studios reach for on faces and Brazilians, and our Honey Soft Wax for full body work, both available by the can or by the case. Our Pre and Post Waxing Oils are sunflower oil based, made in small batches in Southern Oregon, and do double duty before the wax to protect the skin and after it to lift residue. The 8 oz PRO Nourishing Oils with a pump are the treatment room size of our retail oils, so the last step of your service is the same product your client takes home. Pellon strips, personal wipes, and Vajacial PRO kits round out the shelf.

Our Clear Rosin Free Soft Wax is what our own studios use for full facial waxing and Brazilians, and it works everywhere on the body. It is rosin free, which makes it a good choice for clients who react to traditional waxes, and it contains tamanu oil to calm the skin, so skip it for any client with a nut allergy. Our Honey Soft Wax is the one we reach for on full body work, since it is a little tackier and releases from the skin differently, so we use extra care with it on the face. Both come in a single 28 oz can or a case of 12.
What is the difference between soft wax and hard wax?
Soft wax is spread in a thin layer and removed with a strip, while hard wax sets on its own and is pulled off without one. Soft wax moves quickly over larger areas like legs, arms, and backs and grabs short, fine hair well, and many pros prefer hard wax for small, sensitive areas. Plenty of studios keep both, and our Clear Rosin Free Soft Wax is the soft wax our founder's treatment rooms use on faces and Brazilians.
Why do estheticians use oil before waxing?
Estheticians use a thin layer of oil before waxing so the wax grips the hair instead of the skin, which means less tugging and a more comfortable service. Our Pre and Post Wax Oil is a light sunflower oil that many pros tell us has replaced powder in their rooms, and a little goes a long way, since too much oil keeps strip wax from gripping. After the wax, the same oil lifts sticky residue and leaves skin soft.
How do I get wax residue off my skin?
The quickest way to remove wax residue is to massage a little oil over the area and wipe it clean, since oil dissolves wax without any scrubbing. In the treatment room that is Pre and Post Wax Oil, and at home a few drops of Nourishing Oil does the same job while it hydrates. Skip rubbing alcohol and harsh scrubbing on freshly waxed skin, which only adds irritation.
What is the difference between Pre and Post Waxing Oil and PRO Nourishing Oil?
Pre and Post Waxing Oil is the treatment room oil you use during the service, while PRO Nourishing Oil is the aftercare oil that finishes it. Pre and Post Waxing Oil is sunflower oil based, goes on in a thin layer before the wax and lifts residue after, and comes in 16 oz pump bottles and one gallon refills in Simply unscented, Dreamsicle, and Sandalwood Vanilla. PRO Nourishing Oil is the 8 oz pump version of our retail Nourishing Oils, a blend of grape seed, jojoba, tea tree, and copaiba oils, so it is the oil to use in the room, put on your retail shelf, and give as a sample.
Why is there a shipping charge on wax when my order is over $200?
Wax, bulk pre and post oils, and 8 oz PRO Nourishing Oils are heavy, and a case of wax can cost close to $50 to ship across the country, so those items carry a shipping charge that covers only their own freight. Everything else in your cart over $200 still ships free. We keep those rates as close to our actual cost as we can, and if you are ever charged $2 or more over what we paid, we refund the difference automatically.
How much wax and oil should I order to start?
For most single room studios, one can of Clear Rosin Free and one can of Honey is enough to learn how both perform before you commit to a case, and a single 16 oz Pre and Post Oil lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. If you already know our wax, the case of 12 is the better value per can, and a gallon of oil refills your pumps many times over.
