Is this kit for licensed professionals only?

Yes. Our lash lift and brow lamination system is sold to licensed beauty professionals who have been trained in these services, and it is not intended for home use. Lash lift and brow lamination use perming solutions near the eyes, and the results and safety depend on timing, placement, and skin assessment that come with training. If you are a licensed pro new to the service, our brow lamination training video and the protocols linked in the Shop for my business menu will walk you through exactly how we do it in our own studios.

Does one kit work for both lash lifts and brow laminations?

Yes. The same three step system lifts lashes and laminates brows, so you carry one set of products for both services. The full kit includes ten applications of each step, and the individual step refills are here for when you run out of one before the others. Silicone pads and bonding serum for lash lifts are sold separately so you can stock them in the quantity your menu needs.

How many services will the kit do, and how should I store it?

The full kit is sized for ten applications of each step, and the sample kit for two. Keep the sachets or bottles sealed, out of direct sunlight, and at room temperature, and use opened product promptly, since perming solutions lose strength once exposed to air. If you do more brows than lashes, or the other way around, the refill packs let you top up just the step you use fastest.

What is the sample kit for?

The two application sample kit is the best way to try our formulas on a model before you switch your studio over. It gives you enough to do one lash lift and one brow lamination, or two of either, with the exact same products in the full kit. Most pros order the sample, run it on a couple of clients, and then move to the full kit and refills.

Is this really the system you use in your own studios?

Yes, and it is the only one we use. We created this system for Wax & Lash, our Denver studios, which have been open for almost 13 years, and our estheticians there use it on clients every day. We sell it to other licensed professionals because we already know how it performs on real lashes and brows, and if you have a question about a step or a result, you can email hello@justthestrip.com and hear from an esthetician who does the service.

Which conditioning oil should I retail after a lash lift or brow lamination?

Both, and each has its job. Brow Conditioning Oil is a spa in a bottle for brows, great for daily use and a natural add on after a brow lamination to keep the hair conditioned and the shape holding. Lash Conditioning Oil does the same for lashes after a lift. Both are made in small batches in Southern Oregon and sold here in PRO 3 packs at half of retail, so you can use one in the room and put two on the shelf, and your client leaves with the aftercare that protects the service she just paid for.

How long do lash lift and brow lamination results last?

For most clients, a lash lift or brow lamination lasts about six to eight weeks, which lines up with the natural growth cycle of the hair. Results depend on the client's hair, how well the aftercare is followed in the first 24 hours, and whether she conditions the lashes or brows between visits, which is where the conditioning oils earn their place on your retail shelf.

Do you offer training or certification for lash lift and brow lamination?

No. We are a product company, not a training academy, and we do not train or certify anyone in these services. Our system is sold to professionals who are already licensed and trained in lash lift and brow lamination. What we do provide is detailed written protocols and a brow lamination training video that show exactly how we use our own products in our studios, so a trained pro can switch to our system with confidence. If you are not yet trained in these services, please complete a course with a qualified educator in your state before purchasing.
